Friend and former co-worker from “General Hospital”, Maurice Bernard, announced in an Instagram post that beloved actor Tyler Christopher passed away after “a cardiac event”. Christopher had publicly struggled with bipolar depression and alcoholism throughout the years.
He made his daytime debut as Nikolas Cassadine on “General Hospital” in 1996, a role he would play on-and-off until 2016. He would later play the role of Stefan DiMera from 2018 to 2019.
