On Easter Sunday, Agnes informs Ada, Marian, and Oscar about the imminent arrival of her nephew, Dashiell Montgomery, in New York. Meanwhile, Bertha shuns Mrs Astor to support the Metropolitan Opera House and Oscar begins courting Gladys once again.

Thomas Cocquerel, who played Marian’s social climbing ex-fiancé Tom Raikes, is not returning for S2.

Laura Benanti will play Susan Blane, a recent widow living in Newport who hires Larry as the architect for a major home renovation.
Robert Sean Leonard will play Reverend Matthew Forte, the new rector of the church attended by New York’s high society.
Rebecca Haden, who briefly appeared at the end of S1, returns in a recurring role as the mysterious Flora McNeil.
Christopher Denham, David Furr, Ben Lamb, Matilda Lawler, Dakin Mathews, Michael Braugher, and Nicole Brydon Bloom are also joining the cast in recurring roles.
