Fisher Stevens, who you may know as Ben in Short Circuit, Zig on Californication, and Hugo on Succession, has not only had a long spanning Broadway career, but he is also a documentary director (his credits include Bright Lights with Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds). Leonardo DiCaprio’s company approached him about directing the Beckham documentary but he initially had no interest in the project.
