Over the past few weeks since James Charles Painted launch, several problems and issues have arisen. One problem in the paints seems to be some questionable clumps and debris in some of the tubes, giving social media Lipstick Gate flashbacks from the Jaclyn Hill debacle.
The paint also seems to crack and flake easily once applied and dry.
Some tubes also aren’t sealed properly and product comes out easily if you barely even squeeze the tube while it’s “sealed.”
Others have experienced product in tubes that is watery and leaks from the tubes.
People have also complained about slow shipping times. Customers have been waiting over 3 weeks with no shipping details.
About some of the issues, like the tubes not being sealed properly, he says he’s “looking into it.”
