After 146 days of striking, the WGA has reached a tentative deal with the AMPTP.

The WGA emailed strike captains tonight with the news, including the following: “We can say, with great pride, that this deal is exceptional – with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector of the membership.”

The three-year contract will now be sent to WGA members for a ratification vote. If it is ratified, the WGA strike will end. SAG-AFTRA remains on strike.
