-Bill Willingham who created the comic hit series Fables/Wolf Among Us has done what most try to avoid: he’s released his critically acclaimed series to public domain.
-He created the series with DC but DC/WB have failed to do anything with the property and with the constant changes in leadership it has soured his relationship with the company due to failure to pay royalties, adapt the series outside of comics, and be a constant pain in his ass.
-As he does not have the money to go up against DC he decided to do the next best thing by making his works available to everyone, for free.
