Who Is Competing on ‘DWTS’ Season 32?

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix was rumored to be “in talks” to join DWTS in April 2023 amid the aftermath of ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal, known as Scandoval. Pro dancer Derek Hough finally confirmed the news in July 2023 on Good Morning America.

“This season on Dancing With the Stars, we are going absolutely mad — mad for Madix,” Derek said. “Say ‘goodbye’ to the drama and ‘hello’ to the dance floor.”

Then, on September 13, 2023, the rest of the cast was revealed. The stars and their partners competing this season include Ariana and Pasha Pashkov, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, Jamie Lynn Spears and Alan Bersten, Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong, Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd, Matt Walsh and Koko Iwasaki, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev.

Who Is Hosting ‘DWTS’ Season 32?

When DWTS made the switch from ABC to Disney+, model and TV personality Tyra Banks took over the hosting gig. In March 2023, she announced her official departure from the show.

“I feel it’s time for me to really focus on my business and entrepreneurship, but also producing more TV but behind the scenes,” she told TMZ at the time. “So, you know what? I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor.”

Days after the big announcement, it was revealed that Julianne Hough would be taking over as the show’s host.

“It is such an honor to be rejoining Dancing With the Stars as cohost. The show holds such a special place in my heart from the many years and different roles I have had the privilege of being a part of,” the former DWTS pro told Variety in a statement. “The incredible team that brings the ballroom to life every night has been my family for the past 17 years.”
