Sara Bareilles is getting married soon to longtime love Joe Tippett and she’s opening up about their wedding plans.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has said that there are some certain songs that will be off-limits for their wedding day.

While speaking with People recently, Sara was asked if she has plans to perform any of her own songs at her wedding.
“No! Absolutely not,” Sara said. “I mostly hear my songs in Bed Bath & Beyond. So I’m going to do somebody else’s songs. I don’t need to hear mine!”
Sara also talked about why it took her and Joe so long to get engaged – the rings!
“We were kind of getting sidetracked, we started looking for a ring and then it had to be ‘the ring’ and we were like, ‘The ring is starting to feel more important than the moment,’” she said. “And we were like, ‘F– it, let’s just get a little something.’”
Now, Sara says that she and Joe aren’t sweating the small stuff with their wedding planning.
She said, “I think it’s like most things, it’s really easy to get tricked into caring about the wrong things. We keep coming back to ‘Why are we doing this?’ And it’s like, ‘Oh, because I love you.’”
