Double whammy! Netflix’s favorite real estate agents are coming back to our screens because Selling Sunset was renewed for a seventh season even before season 6 dropped. Fans will not only get to see Los Angeles’ most luxurious homes but will get more of the nonstop drama, too.

The exciting announcement was made in June 2022, with filming beginning that same summer.

Keep reading to learn everything we know about the upcoming seasons!

When Does ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 6 Premiere?

Season 6 premiered on Netflix on May 19, 2023. This time around, fans will get to see 11 episodes chock-full of drama from the Oppenheim Group office.

When Does ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 7 Premiere?

Since season 6 just recently launched, Netflix has yet to announce a date for the 7th season of the Los Angeles-based series.

“Fans don’t have to wait long — the market is full of listings for new and returning favorites through the rest of the year,” the streaming service said in a press release.

Who Will Be Returning to ‘Selling Sunset’?

Christine Quinn burned bridges with most of the Oppenheim Group and wasn’t on the best terms with Jason Oppenheim when season 5 wrapped.

“Right now, there’s not a place for her at the Oppenheim Group,” the real estate broker said during the season 5 reunion that Christine missed due to COVID.

On August 17, Page Six reported that Christine would not be returning for season 6. The blonde realtor has appeared to be much more invested in her current project, RealOpen, which she has talked extensively about on Twitter.

According to the company website, it’s the “easiest and most efficient way for crypto holders to purchase luxury real estate.” Christine claimed on Twitter that her online brokerage boasts 250 million listings worldwide.

In addition to Christine, agent Maya Vander announced her exit from the reality series after five seasons. While Maya has been bicoastal for years, she recently transferred from the Oppenheim Group to start The Maya Vander Group, which will be working under Compass.

“Logistically it’s been tough for her. Flying back and forth from Miami to Los Angeles has been a lot and it’s stressful,” a source told Us Weekly in June. “She wants to take it easy, especially after suffering a miscarriage. She wants to focus on her family and hopefully having more kids,” the insider said, adding that she “love the show” but that it’s “time to move on.”

As for the rest of the ladies, there are no signs pointing to them not returning to the show.

In August, Netflix announced the addition of two new agents to the series: Nicole Young, a longtime Oppenheim Group realtor, and Bre Tiesi, a model-turned-real estate agent.

As for season 7, Heather El Moussa – who welcomed baby No. 1 with husband Tarek El Moussa in January – previously revealed that she hadn’t “been called back” to filming following her maternity leave.

“It’s been a little frustrating. So [I’m] not sure what’s been going on,” she told E! News in March. Two months later, however, she clarified via her Instagram Story that she will, in fact, be “in a little bit of [season] 7 that I know of.”

Does Christine Quinn Still Work at the Oppenheim Group?

The real estate agent revealed that she and her husband, Christian Dumontet, started their own crypto real estate business, RealOpen, in April 2022. She told PEOPLE the following month that she canceled her contract with the Oppenheim Group after her new business launched.

“I had to make a business decision that was for me, so I had to terminate the contract so I could move it over to my brokerage,” she told the publication at the time.

Will Chrishell Stause’s Romance Be Featured in ‘Selling Sunset’?

Since Chrishell Stause and partner G Flip was documented as part of season 6, it’s safe to assume season 7 will be no different. One moment that fans won’t be seeing, however, is the couple’s Las Vegas nuptials, as Chrishell told Entertainment Tonight “the wedding is not” on season 7.

Chrishell revealed her relationship during the season 5 reunion, surprising most of her coworkers, like Maya Vander and ex-boyfriend Jason. “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them,” she explained. “And they are an extremely talented musician.”

The pair are still going strong, so hopefully, viewers will be able to see the developing romance unfold on screen!
