A former collaborator of the observer and the HuffPost, going by Mr. D, claims that pitchfork executives decided Katy wasn’t cool anymore while simultaneously a group of activists and journalists campaigned against her because they didn’t deem her worthy of conveying the “woke” message during the prism era.
In the case of Christina, he also claims that it was an orchestrated movement pushed by influential people in the entertainment industry, most critical public face at the time was fallen from grace blogger, Perez Hilton. Mr. D described both instances as inorganic.
He also added that he and many other entertainment journalists ganged up on them and wrote articles trashing them because it generated clicks and revenue.
