    Weekend Box Office: Panda stays on top as Dune passes $200M

    Kung Fu Panda 4 stayed on top this weekend at the box office, taking in $30 million, a 48% drop. After 10 days the film has grossed $107.7 million domestically and $176.5 million worldwide.

    Dune: Part Two was very close behind in 2nd with $29.1 million, a 37% drop from last weekend. Its domestic total now stands at $205 million. It will double Part One’s entire domestic haul by next weekend. Worldwide stands at $494.7 million.

    Arthur the King debuted in 3rd with a poor $7.5 million showing, falling below a projected $8-10 million opening. The film earned an A Cinemascore, 75% Recommend from PostTrak and a 3.0 on Letterboxd. Imaginary ($5.6M, -44%) and Cabrini ($2.8M, -61%) rounded out the Top 5.

    Love Lies Bleeding expanded to 1,362 theaters to gross a 6th place $2.48 million. The American Society of Magical Negroes debuted in 9th place with $1.25 million from 1,147 theaters. It received a 51% Recommend on PostTrak and a 3.0 on Letterboxd.
