Bob Marley: One Love lead the weekend again at the box office with $13.5 million, a 53% drop from last weekends debut. After 12 days of release, the films domestic total stands at an impressive $71.2 million.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training, the sequel to last years To the Swordsmith Village, debuted in 2nd with $11.57 million. The film received a B+ Cinemascore, 68% Recommend from PostTrak and a 3.1 on Letterboxd.
Ordinary Angels debuted in 3rd with $6.5 million. It received a A+ Cinemascore and a 3.3 on Letterboxd.
Madame Web dropped to 4th, falling 61% to $6 million. Its grossed only $35.4 million over its 12 days of release. Migration rounded out the Top 5 with $3 million. Meanwhile Drive-Away Dolls debuted in 8th place with $2.4 million. The Ethan Coen film nabbed a C Cinemascore and a 3.1 on Letterboxd.
Total box office so far this year is down 18% from 2023. Next weekend cant get here fast enough for theater owners.
