Skims Scandal
In November 2023, Brittany was slammed by Taylor’s fans when she posted a paid advertisement for Skims, the shapewear company owned by Kim Kardashian, whom Taylor famously has bad blood with.
In response to the holiday photo, which featured Brittany, Patrick and their two young kids posing in matching SKIMS pajamas, fans were quick to point out that Taylor may see this as a betrayal from her new friend.
“Promoting skims while being friends with Taylor doesn’t sit right with me,” a top commenter wrote.
“You had the comeback of the century, friends with mother, and now you’re promoting Kim K? Yikes,” another commented.
A third person wrote, “I hope that they did this prior to Brittany’s friendship starting with Taylor! If not, I hope Brittany told Taylor they did this,” adding, “This is not a good look!”
The following month, on December 19, 2023, Brittany responded to the backlash, writing via Instagram Stories, “Recently there has been A LOT more rude ass people on here. Waaaay more than normal.”
She continued, “I’m not sure where ya’ll came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from… please.”
