Quick breakdown:
1) Otis became a nickname for Nicki on stan twitter after Megan thee Stallion’s song Thot Shit in 2021
2) Ice Spice has been called Nicki’s sidekick after 2 collaborations and Ice seemingly taking up beef with Latto on Nicki’s behalf
3) Cardi B referred to Nicki as Helga Pataki during a Twitter spat (after the obsessive bully/stalker from Hey Arnold). Nicki is known for throwing shots on social media but not putting a direct mention or “@” in her posts. Red Ruby da Sleeze is another alter ego Nicki has adopted
4) In her Vogue interview, Nicki admitted to having a “past” percocet addiction, which had frequently been innuendo thrown in disses against her
This was going to be a whole post tracing the various alleged shots back and forth between the two, but it got long and convoluted (also LJ ate the post).
Long story short, fans online speculate that Doja and Nicki have had issues for a while, and Nicki has hinted at being jilted out of a verse for her new album.
