Yes, the Oscar noms are out. I considered doing a snub/surprise post but I’m sure we’ll have more posts where people can seethe over Barbie’s snubs.
Highlighting that half the acting nominees (10 of 20) are first-time nominees and seven are POC, so yay baby steps towards diversity and inclusion (and, yes, if you’re wondering, the other 10 previously-nominated actors are all white):
