Studios are hiding the singing in trailers for musicals on purpose since they don’t test well and audience has to be tricked into seeing them
The trailers for Wonka and Mean Girls are hiding that the movies are musicals
The first The Color Purple trailers also did not have singig in it, the most recent one does tho
