Starring Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine, the seven-part series is inspired by the true story of Mary Villiers (Moore), who moulded her beautiful and charismatic son, George (Galitzine), to seduce King James VI of Scotland and I of England and become his all-powerful lover.
Former AMC psychodrama will premier on Starz in 2024.
