Three days after colorist comments made toward group member MINHO caused a stir online, SHINee’s KEY and TAEMIN have issued apologies via social media.
In separate statements, the idols acknowledged the insensitivity of their remarks and expressed remorse for the discomfort, disappointment and hurt they caused fans.

The production team behind the video containing the offensive footage also shared a statement, vowing to “be more cautious and attentive to prevent [a] recurrence” of inclusion of harmful language in SHINee’s future content.
