Olivia Rodrigo’s second album GUTS is now available globally and critics are loving it so far.

    • Rolling Stone calls it an instant classic and the album of a “truly brilliant rock star.”: Rodrigo avoids all the typical second-album pitfalls—no songs about how fame is stressful, no songs about social media. […] all over Guts, she proves that she’s a voice that’s here to stay and a songwriter built to last.

    • The Guardian describes the sound of Guts as “noticeably tougher than its predecessor, as if taking Sour’s Elvis Costello-indebted opener Brutal as its starting point” and (except for pretty isn’t pretty, described as “a little boilerplate”) praises her lyrics as sharp and witty.

    • From Variety: One of the year’s canniest, most delightful albums, again? Of course it is.

    • From NME’s 5-star review: ‘Guts’ doesn’t just feel transitional in a musical sense. It marks the end of Rodrigo’s teenage years, a moment that has gravity given that she recently said in a statement that she felt like she grew “10 years” between the ages of 18 and 20.

Billboard has also released a ranking of all the songs, ranking get him back at no. 1 and lacy at the bottom.
