The local sheriff’s office has released a statement about Ken Urker‘s passing.
The 34-year-old former fiancé of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard was found unresponsive at his Louisiana home on his birthday on Thursday (October 1).
Later in the day, the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office shared a statement confirming Ken‘s death.
“We responded to a residence in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6:15 p.m. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation,” the office said to THR.
It was previously revealed that Gypsy-Rose‘s brother Dylan and his wife were the ones who found Ken in his home when they went over to his house to go out for dinner.
While Ken and Gypsy-Rose were previously in a relationship while she was imprisoned, they broke up in 2019.
However, they reconnected after she split from her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, and Ken was featured throughout the second season of Lifetime’s docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.
In the above clip, Gypsy-Rose learns that she is pregnant with Ken, and they also sit down for a conversation with her father, Rod, and stepmom, Kristy, who give them advice about life in the public eye.
Gypsy-Rose and Ken welcomed their daughter, Aurora, in late December 2024.
