Imagine my surprise when I googled “The Danish Deception” to fall back into that rabbit hole when I discovered that Onyeka Ehie, the woman who made the original TikTok story, is being sued by a woman mentioned in the saga.

If you recall, last year, former Bachelor contestant Onyeka Ehie posted a 25-part TikTok series called The Danish Deception about how her ex-husband scammed her and her family out of thousands and thousands of dollars.

Now, Dr. Alexia Rae Reed, the woman whom Onyeka described in the video, has come forward to file a lawsuit against her. According to her complaint, Onyeka “used language associating Plaintiff with prostitution, street hookers, and similar illicit conduct.” Dr. Reed is seeking a temporary restraining order against Onyeka as well as monetary compensation and legal fees.

In part 25, Onyeka says that one of her friends saw her ex at an ATM with another woman. Onyeka said that the way that her friend described the woman made the woman sound like “a street hooker.”

In the video, Onyeka’s exact words are:

  • “She saw my ex with a woman that, let me just say, based on the way she was described to me, I would think she was a street hooker, one hundred percent. And it was also kinda communicated to me that she might be a one out of ten.”
  • “She tells me and I’m like, okay, so, cool, he’s hanging out with prostitutes in public. Love that.
  • “People know me in Dallas, and they’re gonna see him, and see him with a hooker, and it’s just so disrespectful to me.”

It doesn’t look like any other media outlets have reported on this? Be grateful that ya girl is so chronically online!

  • “She was also able to take fifteen pictures of you holding the prostitute’s jacket?”
  • “He’s also texting…one of the other victims…saying, ‘I can’t believe Onyeka would ever think I would be with a prostitute. That girl was actually a doctor.'” (OP NOTE: Turns out it was true!)
  • “I’m thinking there’s three different options…Number two, he was conning the prostitute and he said, ‘Hey, I only have forty dollars right now.'”…Number three, the prostitute was only forty dollars.”

Honestly, this seems like a pretty flimsy lawsuit. Onyeka did not mention Dr. Reed by name. And she did not even describe how she looked. She said that the way that her friend described her made her sound a certain way.

I don’t think any other media outlets have picked up on this? Be glad that ya girl is so chronically online.
