Comedian Nikki Glaser allegedly made a distasteful joke at the expense of Briel Adams-Wheatley, a Brazilian-born trans woman who was born without limbs due to the rare genetic condition Hanhart Syndrome. Glaser apologized directly to Adams-Wheatley in response.
Like any/every other joke about trans women, Glaser focused on Adams-Wheatley’s genitals, allegedly stating that Adams-Wheatley “decided” to transition and rubbed her genitals off by moving across the floor.
Glaser was apparently horrified to learn that this joke found its way back to Adams-Wheatley, and Glaser apologized in the influencer’s DMs, informing her that she hates anti-trans jokes and will be dropping her bit about Adams-Wheatley during future performances: “it’s a dumb joke and I will lose it immediately. I love you and I’m so sorry!”
