Hours before the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards aired live from the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles with first-time host Mariska Hargitay, the festivities began on the Emmys 2026 red carpet. With stars from Widow’s Bay, Hacks, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, The Gilded Age, and Love Story, among others, all nominated, the Emmys 2026 red carpet was the destination for celebrity run-ins, breathless interviews, and, of course, major fashion moments. Perhaps no one embraced that opportunity more than Hacks star Meg Stalter, who was dressed as a literal gold Emmy statuette while nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series at the 2026 Emmys.
As Stalter has learned with her Hacks co-star, series creator Paul W. Downs, making a bold style statement is often better with company. Some of the starriest duos who walked the Emmys 2026 red carpet include nominated couples like The Diplomat’s Keri Russell and her former The Americans costar turned real-life partner Matthew Rhys, who won both for his work on the Apple TV comedy series Widow’s Bay and Netflix’s psychological thriller limited series The Beast in Me. Then were the Fanning sisters, each nominated for splashy streaming shows—Dakota for Peacock’s All Her Fault, and Elle for the Apple TV comedy Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
