Netflix has shared the first stills from Ink, the latest film from Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle. As TIFF’s website puts it, Ink “charts the meteoric rise of Rupert Murdoch (Guy Pearce) and his fledgling but instantly notorious newspaper The Sun, as he and editor Larry Lamb (Jack O’Connell) create the blueprint for UK tabloid culture.” Claire Foy also stars.
Ink will open Venice Film Festival next week. In the US and Latin America, it will debut in select theatres December 11 before arriving on Netflix January 8.
