A new Hallmark Channel romance has arrived.
Aussie at Heart premiered on Saturday night (August 15), with Rhiannon Fish and Daniel Lissing leading the cast.
The movie takes viewers to Queensland, Australia, where two former colleagues with a complicated history are brought back together for an important assignment.

Samara, a former lawyer now event planner, reunites with Nate, her ex?coworker and rival, to plan a couple’s anniversary in Queensland and begin to confront their past and fall for each other.

Rhiannon and Daniel play the movie’s central couple, Samara and Nate.
Hallmark fans will recognize Rhiannon from movies including A Picture of Her, When Love Springs, Polar Opposites, The 27-Hour Day, and You’re Bacon Me Crazy. She has also appeared in The 100, Home and Away, and Neighbours.
Daniel is best known to Hallmark viewers for playing Jack Thornton on When Calls the Heart. His other television credits include The Rookie, S.W.A.T., and Last Resort.
The supporting cast includes Tracie Filmer and Lana Golja.

Where was Aussie at Heart filmed?
The movie was filmed in and around the Gold Coast in Queensland, meaning the Australian setting viewers see on-screen is genuine.
Production company Jaggi Entertainment announced the project in March 2026 under its original working title, Love on Deck. The production used the Gold Coast’s beaches, waterways, and other natural locations as its backdrop.
Aussie at Heart was directed by Colin Budds and written by Ansley Gordon, based on a story by Sophie Tilson.

Following its Saturday night premiere, Aussie at Heart will begin streaming on Hallmark+ on Sunday (August 16).
