Hilaria Baldwin is hitting back at critics.

The 42-year-old The Baldwins reality TV star made an appearance on Sirius XM’s Page Six Radio.

During the conversation, she addressed giving off “gold digger vibes” when she began dating husband Alec Baldwin at the age of 27, as well as a viral clip of her telling Alec to stop interrupting her and the story about why that happened.

She also got candid about her 20-year eating disorder during the interview, as well as her relationship with her body after welcoming seven kids with Alec.

See highlights from the conversation inside…

On the extremes she took during 20-year eating disorder…

“I had a really bad eating disorder for 20 years and I really struggled with it, and I realized that I just didn’t know when I was hungry and when I was full. And I did all of it. I did anorexia, I did bulimia, I did overeating, I did undereating, I did all of it. And I found that as soon as I could tap into when am I hungry, when am I full, what are good things to eat, and then not be afraid of things. Like two nights ago, I can’t wait to post this video. My youngest and I opened up two pints of Häagen-Dazs. One was sweet vanilla almond, which I’ve never had before. And then the other one was an Oreo cookie…we had like two spoons. Like people should not dip into these ones if you’re afraid of germs because they had both our germs all over them. But then you can do that, and it was like 9:00 p.m. So not being afraid of things, but again, eating an amount that feels like your body can manage it.”

On her relationship with her body after pregnancy:

“The like, ‘Am I fat? Am I this? Am I that?’ You know, I did a lot of the work before. I really, really, one of the best things about having ADHD is we get very hyper-focused on certain things. It can be bad too, but one of the good things that it did is I think it gave me hyperfocus on trying, like, ‘I need to solve this. Like, I don’t want to live this way. I’m miserable. I can’t have good relationships. I can’t have good friendships. I can’t eat out to dinner with people. Like, it’s just so, so, so stressful. I’m afraid of how many calories might be in toothpaste.’ Like, just insanity. And so I think I really, and I also wanted to make sure that I healed that before I had kids because I didn’t want to pass my habits down. I almost said a bad word. Probably can’t do that here. I didn’t want to pass my s–t down to it. So I just want, I really feel that it was, and then it was interesting because one of my best friends had a baby three weeks before me. And all of a sudden, I saw her afterwards and I looked like a whale. I looked like Jabba the Hutt. And she’s gorgeous, holding this baby, and I’m like, ‘What happened to you? Like, what?’ And she’s like, ‘You watch. It’s going to happen to you too.’ And not right away, but little by little, you’re like a little shrinky dink.”

On talking to kids about body image:

“Obviously, I think that some of it is going to be their experience, and no matter how much I try to bubble-wrap them, it’s going to get through. So I think just having the conversations about it and not making it mystical. Like, I feel like when I was younger and struggling more, I’d be like, ‘How do these people do it?’ And you’d see in magazines, ‘What I Eat in a Day’ and, ‘Oh, this is the South Beach Diet’ and all this stuff. I was like, ‘Maybe this is what it has to be.’ Also, I looked back and I was like, ‘I looked fine.’ It’s like I was like, ‘Yeah, but I thought I was like a whale.’ But I just thought there was something broken inside of me. And so what I try to do with my kids is empower them. Talk about strength. Talk about how does the food make you feel? And then also don’t be like, ‘Oh my God, no, you can’t have Cheetos.’ Like, I don’t love that my kids eat Cheetos sometimes. But they really want to, and so if we don’t shame it and it’s not a regular thing, then there you go. You know what I mean? It’s like a balance thing. Feed yourself with mostly good things. Open up a pint of ice cream sometimes and take out a spoon, but be aware of your body. We can all relate to Thanksgiving and people usually feel pretty sick on Thanksgiving. Don’t have that be a regular thing, right?”

    On gold digger rumors:

“I mean, look, 27-year-old yoga instructor marrying like Alec Baldwin, who was like a rich and famous like older man, kind of gold digger vibes, right?

    On if the rumors hurt:

Yes. Because like I’m not that way. He, from the beginning, I don’t think I’ve ever said this, but like he would always try to buy me things and I would be like, ‘No, I don’t want this.’ So, I was living in a small apartment and I mean, any New Yorker knows that the temperature inside of an apartment is a little complicated, right? Like sometimes in December, you need to open up the window because the furnace is too much. The radiator, whatever that thing, the heating thing that you don’t touch because you will get burns, too hot or then it all of a sudden gets really cold. And so I actually had a computer that didn’t work very well, a laptop, and I would use it to heat my hands at night. So I’d lay I’d literally lay in one position. I’d have one palm up and one palm down. And I would use it to be on my hands because I was so cold. And it didn’t really work as like a great computer because probably I don’t know…it was overheating and it was hot. I love this. This is my heater. Again this is why I’m on the show. But so and I was like, ‘I don’t want you to buy me something because I want to know that I like you for you. Because I don’t want to be prisoner either.’ Like hello. It’s two ways. Like people who go into that, they get stuck in a really bad situation. And I was like, ‘I need to know that I want to be here.’”

On her viral moment telling her husband “When I’m talking you’re not talking”:

“So, can I tell you about the story? So, first of all, I want to, I’m gonna, like this is my ADHD, I’ve got like bad ADHD so I could go on a tangent, but I’m like put a pin in it. See this is learning. This is my therapy. I’m going to come to that was like really messed up on all the girls who didn’t have my back during that because that was a feminist moment. Okay. So, we’re going to get to that. So, now I’m going to start…Alec was doing a movie in Italy last year and I was like barely on my phone. I didn’t have TikTok at the time, like whatever. And he starts laughing and he’s like, ‘The world is mad at you right now.’ And I was like, ‘What? What could I possibly do? I’m here. I’m taking care of kids. Like, what could I possibly do?’ And he’s like, ‘You told me not to interrupt you.’ And I was like, literally if you spend time with us, he interrupts me all the time. Like all the time. And it gets to be frustrating. So, first of all, if I’m actually mad at you, which I wasn’t mad, I was like, ‘Oh, she’s so mean to him.’ I’m like just never going to speak to you. Like I do silent treatment like let him talk and I’ll be like, ‘Oh, and then he’ll know.’”

On the silent treatment, and what they say in their house:

“That is the worst. Okay. So, when I say, ‘When I’m talking, you’re not talking,’ that’s supposed to be funny. What we do in my house like when I’m walking here, you’re not walking here. Like so many people in our house, you can use this. So, no, it’s like when I’m doing this, you’re not doing that. When I’m opening the refrigerator to get a drink. You are not thirsty, this is my turn right now. So, it’s like a thing. But anyway, they like cut in a particular way. He had interrupted me so many times and I was trying to be focused which is difficult for me and then he was like Boy George, I was like, that was my moment. I was like, ‘Stop with the Boy George. We are focusing and when I’m talking you’re not talking,’ and so there you go. But then like what I was upset about is I was like I wanted that to be like moment of like ‘I’m speaking.’ And people didn’t do that. They wanted to be like, ‘Yeah see we knew she was a monster.’ And I want to be like, ‘Girls because he’s like this famous guy and I’m a woman and I’m younger I should be like oh he wants to speak. Okay.’ No.”

On her thirst traps, and whether she shows Alec first:

“He gets to see them with everyone else. But I also just like randomly do this in my life. Like all I’m doing is putting up a like I don’t plan it. I’m just going to like, okay, I’m going to do this. Well, in my typical life, I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I did today for you guys.  I did my own. I did. Yeah. Well, it was so funny. I have a woman who helped me out yesterday when I was going around doing things. She’s like, ‘Well, let me know what time you’re doing glam.’ This was on Sunday, and I was like, ‘I forgot to book glam.’ Which is like fine…or I’ve just done it enough times that it’s like fine. Plus, like, how many bad photos and videos have you guys seen of me? It’s like we all know what I look like anyway. Like, let’s just not try to like pretend that we don’t know what I look like when I’m crying.”

She also felt that she was “bullied” off of Dancing With the Stars last year.
