Kristen Doute thinks Brittany Cartwright is a “victim” of Jax Taylor’s new relationship.

The 47-year-old reality TV star split from Brittany in 2024, and is now dating her ex-publicist, Lori Krebs.
Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kristen explained: “Brittany’s whole life is nothing but [her son] Cruz and Lori has been there for 10 years every step of the way.
“She knows every detail. She knows every text message, every a****** move that Jax has made towards Brittany and I think that’s what makes me the most irritated … are people coming after Brittany, ‘Well didn’t we hear about this two years ago. Who cares. He’s single.’
“No! Don’t come after Brittany. Brittany is the victim here and honestly, who cares about Jax. This is so Jax’s way of doing things. This was her paid professional. This was someone who is like family to her.”
A source previously insisted that Jax and Lori’s relationship has only turned romantic in recent months.
The insider told Us Weekly: “Jax and Lori’s relationship developed over the past several months after they grew closer while supporting one another through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
“What began as a longstanding friendship gradually evolved into a relationship. There was never a romantic relationship before that, despite years of speculation.”
Meanwhile, Brittany previously claimed that she did her best to save her marriage to Jax.
The reality TV star struggled with addiction for years, but Brittany made every effort to help and support him, before she eventually walked away from the relationship.
She said on When Reality Hits: “No one wants Jax to be better more than I do, let’s be real.
“I tried and tried and tried for years to help this man get better and for us to be a happy family, I was deeply and madly in love with him, there’s no one that can ever deny that. You know? My love was real.
“And I tried very, very hard to make sure that – especially after we had our son – that he was getting the help he needed.”
