After publicly challenging soap writers to give him a juicy role earlier this year, General Hospital obliged by casting John Oliver in a three episode story arc as Z, director of the World Security Bureau. GH tailored the role to suit his requests for a ridiculous character name, a dramatic close up, and being slapped. Bonus: they gave him a scene where he dramatically exits a helicopter and shoots someone.
