Millie Bobby Brown has a pretty wild Tom Cruise story.
The 22-year-old Stranger Things actress opened up about her friendship with the Mission: Impossible star during a conversation with Happy Sad Confused host Josh Horowitz in New York City on Wednesday (June 24).
“He’s a dear friend. He’s a wonderful man and I’m very lucky to call him my friend,” Millie said (via People), before revealing that Tom may be trying to get her involved in one of his famously adventurous hobbies.
“Tom does the craziest stuff. I think he’s trying to get me to somehow fly a plane at some point,” Millie said.
That would not be first time getting behind the controls of one of his vehicles. Millie said she has already “flown his helicopter before,” though it sounds like that was enough for her.
“I was like, ‘This is the last time I ever fly any of his equipment,’” she said.
Millie has previously compared herself to Tom when talking about doing her own stunts in Damsel during a visit to The Drew Barrymore Show in 2024.
“You’re just like, ‘Are we really gonna, like, am I really gonna do that stunt?’ And then that day they’re like, ‘Yep, put the harness on,’ and I just, like, did the stunt as if it wasn’t, you know, Tom Cruise–level stuff. I felt like Tom Cruise,” she said at the time. “In this film, I feel like the female version of Tom Cruise. I did all my own stunts from start to finish.”
Tom famously learned to fly a helicopter for Mission: Impossible – Fallout and has continued flying recreationally.
Millie is currently busy promoting her new Netflix movie Enola Holmes 3 and stepped out in a stunning sheer ensemble to attend the premiere after party.
