Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue are the latest stars cast in the upcoming film Tangled Up In Blue!
The acclaimed filmmaker and the pop star are taking roles in the forthcoming movie from director Jamie Adams, which is currently filming in Wales, according to Variety.
They join a lineup of stars including Jason Isaacs, Allison Williams, Sofia Boutella and RZA!
A local news outlet reports Quentin and Kylie were spotted filming on location in Porthcawl. The pair were seen filming a funeral scene and a wake.
Also featured in the cast include Welsh actors Karen Paullada, Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell and Siwan Morris.
This reunites Quentin with Jamie Adams, who previously directed him in the movie Only What We Carry, which debuted at The Tribeca Festival earlier this month.
Previously, Jamie dished on cold-pitching Quentin with the role for Only What We Carry.
“I sent him the story outline and a letter,” he told Variety. “I was just very honest about believing in him as an actor. Improvisation, the way I use it, is about being present and reacting organically. He’s one of the greatest conversational storytellers. I thought that would be incredible in character. I didn’t think I’d hear back. But two weeks later, on a Sunday, his agent emailed saying Quentin was intrigued and wanted a Zoom.”
“Tarantino proved to be an exceptional actor,” the Welsh director added. “He was wonderful. Curious. Collaborative. He loves actors. He loves cinema history. Being in France making something that felt inspired by Eric Rohmer excited him.”
Earlier this year, in her new Netflix documentary, Kylie opened up about a secret health battle after being diagnosed with cancer a second time in 2021.
