It’s June, and a new Steven Spielberg film about aliens is about to hit theaters. No, it’s not June 11th, 1982, when E.T. made his debut. It’s June 12th, 2026, and Disclosure Day is finally here from Universal. While the film has no new major studio competition, it will open against Lionsgate’s The Furious and Bleeker Street’s Stop! That! Train!, as well as competing with releases from previous weeks.
The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Five” – Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD.
