Hunter Biden is reflecting on sobriety and hitting back at a doubter.

The 56-year-old son of former President Joe Biden celebrated seven years of sobriety in a post on social media shared on Monday (June 1).

“7 years sober today. Thank you to everyone who has walked this road with me,” he captioned the video.

“Hey, everybody. Just a quick message to say thank you to everybody who has messaged me today on seven years clean and sober. I’m more proud of that than anything I’ve ever done in my life. And I just want everybody to know that is still out there sick and suffering. There’s a way out. And that way out is together. I’m so proud to be a part of this community. And I’m just so grateful for all the love and support everybody has given me. So thank you again.”

“Bulls–t. That was your bag of coke in the white house,” a user wrote back.

“It most definitely was not. I would never have forgotten my drugs,” he responded.

Hunter previously denied in an interview that a bag of cocaine found in the White House in 2023 during his father’s presidency belonged to him amid an investigation.

In court documents filed last month, it was revealed that Hunter moved out of the country shortly after his father Joe Biden‘s presidential term ended in January last year.

His attorney, Barry Coburn, filed a 14-page document in a civil lawsuit over unpaid legal fees on April 6, according to People. In the filing, it mentions, “Mr. Biden lives abroad.” The attorney declined to offer more details. Find out more.
