JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are celebrating a major relationship milestone.
The couple marked their first anniversary together on Wednesday (May 27) with sweet tributes shared on their respective Instagram accounts, giving fans a glimpse into their long-distance romance.
For her post, JoJo, 23, shared a slideshow of photos and videos featuring special moments with Chris, 33, over the past year.
“The greatest gift I’ve ever received in life was 365 days ago. What a beautiful year it’s been with you by my side. I wake up with more love every day, more gratitude every day, and a bigger smile on my face every day,” she captioned the post.
JoJo also reflected on the challenges and joys of maintaining a long-distance relationship.
“From every phone call, to every plane ride, to every memory made together in the last year, I’m grateful for every single one and when I look back, I just smile to myself peacefully feeling so complete. Happy one year to the one I love, my bestest friend.”
Chris responded in the comments with a playful message, writing, “hey that’s me,” along with a heart emoji.
Over on his own Instagram account, Chris shared a black-and-white photo of the pair together on vacation and kept his message simple, adding the text, “Happy one year :)” over the image.
The anniversary celebration comes just one month after JoJo admitted she had a bit of wedding fever.
