Lindsie Chrisley was arrested over the weekend.
The 36-year-old former Chrisley Knows Best star was arrested on Saturday night (May 23) on suspicion of DUI and booked into jail, according to jail records obtained by TMZ. She was bonded out early Sunday morning.
In a statement to TMZ, Lindsie said that she was booked and immediately released, adding that she plans on fighting the charge.
“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,” she shared.
Lindsie‘s arrest comes weeks after her boyfriend David Landsman was arrested and booked on one count of aggravated assault.
David allegedly called the police to turn himself in after a heated argument with Lindsie. She reportedly confronted him over a lie and when the former Chrisley Knows Best star tried to exit the situation, he supposedly “went berserk.” When police arrived on the scene, a source said that they saw visible injuries on Lindsie.
If you didn’t know, Lindsie is estranged from her father Todd Chrisley because he believes she assisted the feds in arresting him for tax evasion. Lindsie has denied any wrongdoing in the case. Last year, Lindsie‘s younger sister Savannah Chrisley opened up about her and her family’s estrangement from Lindsie.
