If you were wondering if you’d ever see another Instagram post from Amy Adams, the answer is probably no.
The 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actress last put up a post on the social media app nearly five years ago.
On July 21, 2021, Amy posted a trip to her husband Darren Le Gallo on his birthday. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my lovely husband @darrenlegallo. Love you D!”
In the years since, Amy has been absent from the app. She explained why in a new interview with S Magazine.
It didn’t feel organic. I’m kind of boring. I am really routine-driven. I go to the same places. I’m already so settled in my ways that I would have to hunt for something to post about outside of work
Even though Amy isn’t posting, Darren is still active and her just shared a birthday post for their daughter Aviana, who turned 16 this month.
“My girl is 16 years old today, and I’m just so grateful to be your Father. You’re an incredible human being, and it’s been the greatest joy of my life to watch you grow. What a gift. I definitely learn more from you. Happy Birthday Aviana xoxo,” he wrote.
