Sam Raimi is directing direct Magic, an adaptation of the William Goldman novel. The book was first adapted in 1978 in a film that Richard Attenborough directed and Anthony Hopkins starred in. Hopkins played a ventriloquist who finds himself controlled by a malicious dummy.
