Dorit Kemsley did not hold back when calling out former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Teddi Mellencamp for a shady comment about her looks.
“Sad to see someone who once called me a friend go this low,” Dorit, 49, wrote in the comments section of a “Two Ts in a Pod” Instagram post from Wednesday, April 29.
In the clip, Teddi was having a discussion with podcast cohost Tamra Judge regarding PK Kemsley’s recent interview about his divorce when she took a shot at Dorit.
“PK says the show created scenarios that did not happen,” Teddi said. “What about that crying episode when their home was burglarized and Dorit was hugging Mauricio [Umansky]? Was that created?”
Teddi called out more of Dorit’s major story lines throughout her RHOBH tenure, including the Buca di Beppo room and her Beverly Beach bathing suit line.
“He said he began to look at Dorit wondering, ‘Who are you?’” Teddi continued. “At that moment, I was wondering, ‘Did he mean because of the plastic surgery or how she mentally was acting?’”
Dorit has continuously shut down plastic surgery rumors since making her RHOBH debut during season 7 in 2016. Fans were quick to come to her defense, sending love in the “Two Ts in a Pod” comments section.
PK appeared on the “We Need to Talk” podcast on Tuesday, April 28, marking the first time he spoke out at length about the reason for the pair’s divorce. (Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024. They filed for divorce the following year.)
“I’m not blaming that show [for] my divorce or my relationship or who I think Dorit is now versus who I think she was, or who I am now,” he said, “I think the biggest question that I have that will never be answered is that, is Dorit where she was always going to be and always going to end up, or was I responsible for putting her in that world and then that world created what happened now?”
He continued, “Because there’s no question that before we did that [show] … if you talk about happy times, I remember living in Tribeca, we had a beautiful apartment, and then we had the baby, and life was pretty f***ing good.”
PK claimed on Tuesday that Dorit joining RHOBH was his idea.
“Who drove the bus into the wall? Me,” he said, before going on to explain how the reality show changed their life.
“The show likes to go back and only talk about bad things,” he added. “They build up this vision of who you are as a person, as a couple, and then you start repeating it, you start believing it, and suddenly you find yourself [saying], ‘What are you talking about? I’m nothing like that guy. I’m nothing like the person they’re showing.’ And I’m looking at my wife and saying, ‘Who are you?’ It’s scary when you look at it.”
