Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen have released the studio version of their new duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” almost a week after they first performed it live.
The country music stars premiered the song during the Alabama show on Morgan‘s Still the Problem tour on April 18.
“Ella wrote this song and sent it me about a month ago and I loved it,” Morgan told the crowd at the concert (via Billboard).
The new song comes just two weeks after the release of Ella‘s album Dandelion, though it’s not included in that project.
They sing on the chorus, “I can’t love you anymore / Can’t keep chasing you round, round the back of my mind / I can’t need you anymore / Can’t keep sharing this bed with your ghost every night/ I hate that your kiss / Left a burn on my lips / Oh baby how do I tell my heart it ain’t yours / When I’ve said it before / I can’t love you anymore.”
