After months of rumors, Austin Butler and Michael B. Jordan are officially on board for a Miami Vice reboot from director Joseph Kosinski. The film, titled Miami Vice ’85, “explores the glamour and corruption of mid-80’s Miami.” Universal also shared that it will be filmed for IMAX and is now scheduled to release August 6, 2027.
