Hannah Murray of Skins and Game of Thrones fame, was in the height of her career, when she was preyed on by a wellbeing organisation she calls ‘cult-like’. It promised secret knowledge, magic, and included rituals. The org separated her from loved ones and led to a deterioration of her mental health which was so severe, she was detained in a mental health facility.
She is now out of the cult which preyed on her vulnerability, and sharing her story: “In my memoir The Make-Believe, I want to tell my story of magic and madness. Of a spiritual awakening that turned into a mental breakdown.
