“I’m ok. I was happy to be on set and help tell the story. I am grateful for whoever is checking on me, the cast and crew for regarding our safety. It’s going to be a great movie and I am looking forward to fans seeing it!” the actor told TMZ.

The outlet also states that JC “did not feel unsafe on set and continues to have a positive experience working on the project.”

Of the on-set accident, sources told TMZ that the incident was caused by “simple inertia” and was a total accident.

This is just the latest in a series of incidents that have plagued the film set. On March 26, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) called a strike over labor issues and increasing safety concerns.

Deadline says the producers have not denied anything, but did say they “don’t negotiate with communists.”

CEO of Bonfire Legend, the production company behind the project, Dallas Sonnier, says the production was fully staffed for the most part until the strike and had to replace 15% of the staff. He says he hasn’t received any calls from the union “because they are total cowards and whiny busybodies.”
