Nuremberg wasn’t a big hit at the box office in 2025, but the film has gained a wide audience on streaming and fans are loving it!
In the historical drama, a WWII psychiatrist evaluates Nazi leaders before the Nuremberg trials, growing increasingly obsessed with understanding evil as he forms a disturbing bond with Hermann Göring.
Russell Crowe stars as Goring alongside a star-studded cast that includes Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, and more.
The movie only grossed $14 million at the domestic box office after its November 2025 release in theaters, but it’s currently #2 on Netflix’s most-watched movies list in the U.S.
Russell took to Twitter this weekend to celebrate the news that the movie was ranked #1 by audiences on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcorn-meter for 2025.

He tweeted, “Nuremberg ranked #1 movie for 2025 by audience on Rotten Tomatoes. If you haven’t seen it, you should. Great cast. Beautiful cinematography. I’d work with the director Jamie Vanderbilt and producer Richard Saperstein in a heartbeat.”
