Noah Kahan has dropped his new single “Porch Light” off his upcoming fourth studio album, The Great Divide.

The Grammy-nominated singer released the new song on Friday (March 13), just over a month before the full album arrives on April 24.

Noah co-wrote the song with Aaron Desner during their first-ever session writing together and he recorded the track at the iconic Long Pond Studio in New York and Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville.

On the track, Noah sings from his mother’s perspective.

“I hope you tell me that you’re winding down / That you’ve lost the taste to face the crowd / That whatever made you famous made you sick / That you can only do what pain allows / It ain’t up to you to make it out / And there ain’t no shame in callin’ this thing quits,” he sings.
