Jessi Ngatikaura revealed on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that she worried about her prenup being voided if she split from husband Jordan Ngatikaura.
During season 4, which premiered on Thursday, March 12, Jessi and Jordan weathered ups and downs while fighting for their marriage in the aftermath of her affair with Marciano Brunette. The couple had several fights — including one about Jessi changing her last name back to Draper — and revisiting their prenup made her get emotional.
“Jordan is still really upset about the name change, even though I know it’s what’s right for me. Even though I haven’t made a decision about Jordan and I, I met with my dad to go over this prenup,” she explained. “But it’s been over five years.”
Jessi didn’t remember what was mentioned in the original paperwork at first, but she expressed concern that Jordan would be “a hard person to be married to” and a “harder person to divorce.”
“We discovered that me and Jordan did not have witnesses sign [the prenup], so that could mean that the prenup is voided,” Jessi revealed to her costars before breaking into tears. “This information has really rattled me because I just don’t know what that could mean for me, my business and the security of my family.”
Jessi was worried about putting her business and family in “a terrible situation,” adding, “I just don’t know what will happen. I’ll probably lose millions. He’s entitled to anything in the last five years that I’ve created. When we got married, I was worth a lot less than I am now. So it just sucks and I don’t want to do that to my family.”

She continued: “He’s entitled to it, so I could see him doing it [where he asks for] child support or I would owe him alimony. … Jordan has made a lot of changes, but if I’m basing it off of the Jordan that I was married to for four years — that Jordan would be a very hard person to divorce. He would be spiteful and vindictive. I think he would play a little bit dirty. So I just have to prepare myself that if we do get divorced that it could go that way.”
Jessi and Jordan’s marriage has been a major story line on the show since she was accused of infidelity in season 2. Jessi ultimately revealed she had an emotional affair with Marciano after they met while filming Vanderpump Villa.
“I wouldn’t say I was in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks, so it was quick. But I will say I confided in him a lot,” Jessi exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the season 3 premiere in November 2025. “The dynamic with Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they’d seen things, but I tried to be like, ‘Everything’s fine.’”
Jessi recalled sharing her marriage struggles with Marciano, including how Jordan allegedly “treated” her.
“I did feel a connection to him in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” she said. “Jordan would put me down a lot. Marciano told me how pretty and cool and fun I was. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I was lacking. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”
After a brief emotional affair, Jessi came clean to Jordan about Marciano.
“Jordan found out when he went through my phone and put an end to it. But it was a blessing in disguise because it needed to end,” she told Us. “I did not want to carry this on for months or years. I didn’t know how to get out of it.”
Jessi and Jordan ultimately ended the season still together. Off screen, however, Jordan didn’t rule out the idea of getting divorced.
“I just remember one of the things that I promised [Jessi’ dad in the past] was that divorce was not an option for me. I don’t want to do this with that ever even being an option. This is it,” he said on an episode of “The Viall Files” podcast in November 2025. “[But] I told Jessi that if it ever gets like that again [with our marriage], I don’t want anything to do with this relationship either.”
