Noah Wyle is speaking out about the next season of The Pitt!
The 54-year-old actor stepped out for the 2026 Actor Awards, previously known as the SAG Awards, on Sunday (March 1) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, with wife Sara Wells.
At the show, Noah picked up two awards – Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for the show’s cast.
In the press room backstage, Noah was asked about season three of The Pitt and shared how far along the process is. If you recall, they were still filming the season two finale earlier this year!

“We’re just about to go back into the writing room for season 3,” he told press, via Screen Rant. “The first thing we do every season is take a lot of meetings with experts from every vector of healthcare that you could think of and ask them what should be on TV, what would be helpful to the work that they’re doing. We’re just going to begin that process in the next few weeks. And then from that, we’ll pull our stories. Try to get the nail on the head.”
“Are we going to be timely in season 3? Yes. There’s never a shortage of storylines to pull from in an emergency room,” Noah continued. “And when you have characters that are as rich and diverse and as multidimensional as the ones that we have, it’s very easy to just plot them into the future and figure out what they would be struggling with at that point.”
The Pitt season two is still airing new episodes weekly, every Thursday night through April.
FYI: Noah is wearing a Balenciaga tux.
