LeAnn Rimes is sharing some insight into her 15-year marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian.
The 43-year-old singer and 52-year-old The Young and the Restless alum have dealt with significant scrutiny from the start of their relationship, as they met on the set of the 2009 film Northern Lights, while they were both married to other people.
But LeAnn says they have “evolved so much” since that time and “everything’s easier” these days after their 15+ years of marriage.

“We’ve been through so much together. Now our boys, my stepsons, are 22 and 18. They’re grown boys. And to help raise his sons—we have a very calm life, which is wonderful. And it didn’t start out that way at all, but now, we’ve really grown into—we just love each other,” the “I Need You” singer told E! News.
LeAnn is a stepmom to Eddie‘s sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 18.
“[We] know each other so well, and he’s so supportive of me,” LeAnn continued. “We come first before anything, and we always make sure that that’s the case.”
She also said that they “love being around each other” and spend a lot of time laughing.
“He’s just a good guy. He really is. So, 15 years is wild to think about that it’s been that long. But so far, so good,” the 9-1-1: Nashville star shares.
Speaking of the 9-1-1 spinoff, LeAnn has written an original song titled “Wild Things Run” that debuted in the most recent episode “Don Begins.”
While the song is about her character Dixie and her complex relationship with Chris O’Donnell‘s character Don, LeAnn says there are “pieces” of the real her in it.
“I had a very strong vision for wanting to capture that emotion of [Dixie and Don’s] relationship. In mine and Eddie‘s relationship, there’s been some of that, too. So, there’s definitely pieces of that,” she explained.
