Production has been put on pause amid news that Mary Cosby‘s son Robert Cosby Jr passed away this week.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven was scheduled to begin filming this week, but has been delayed following Robert‘s sudden death on Monday (February 23), per Variety.

“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Mary’s beloved son, Robert Jr. Mary is a cherished member of our family, and our thoughts, love, and deepest condolences are with her and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” Bravo shared in a statement on social media.
Mary and the full cast are ALL reportedly set to return for the reality show’s next season.
Following the news of Robert Jr‘s death, the stars of RHOSLC and other Real Housewives shows have sent their love and condolences to Mary and her family.
Robert Jr has made several appearances on the show, most notably in season five, when he candidly opened up about his drug addiction. You can watch the emotional video here.
