Last night Jennifer Hudson recieved the Renaissance Award from the American Black Film Festival Honors. The the Renaissance Award honors “trendsetting content creators” and, more broadly, reinvention. The world watched and loved Jennifer Hudson on American Idol and after she was cut she went onto better and better. The EGOT legend walked the carpet with her 16-year-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr.
The doppelgänger teen (born 2010 [brb throwing myself off a building]) is the child of Hudson and her ex-fiancé David Otunga.
