According to ET, Arnold looked back on Last Action Hero in the self-titled series. It was released back in 1993 and struggled in its first week of release with a gross of $15.3 million.

“I cannot tell you how upset I was,” he said. “It hurts you. It hurts your feelings. It’s embarrassing… I didn’t want to see anyone for a week. But you keep plodding along. And my mother-in-law also said this all the time: ‘Let’s just move forward.’ It’s a great message.”

He continued, saying the movie cane when he “had reached [his] peak.” At the time, Terminator 2 was the one of the best-selling movies of all time.
