The NBA has postponed a game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors that was scheduled today after the death of a Minneapolis resident, Alex Pretti, at the hands of CBP agents. More details about the man’s death behind a cut.
[Details about the death] I’m obviously not going to post the videos that are going around, but Drop Site News was able to get a video from a witness where Alex is filming CBP agents who start to go after a woman on the streets. Alex intervenes and the CBP agents start use pepper spray on him and the woman. The woman is able to get away but the CBP agents wrestle Alex to the ground. As he’s being wrestled to the ground, a CBP agent shoots Alex multiple times. Alex was taken to the hospital where it was later announced that he died.
The Trump administration is saying that Alex had a gun on him, which is why the CBP agents acted the way he did. However, videos of the execution show that Alex never pulled a gun and that a CBP agent confiscated the gun before Alex was shot. Alex also was a legal gun owner and had a permit, but the government and second amendment MAGAs won’t care about that.
If people don’t remember, the NBA players did a work stoppage in 2020 after the shooting of Jacob Blake by police in Wisconsin. The work stoppage lasted 3 days. It’ll be interesting to see if the NBA players do anything similar now.
